This workout uses precise, low-impact movements to sculpt long lean lines throughout the body. The videos Melissa creates are straightforward no-fuss workouts often done in her apartment, small studio, or even on vacation in a hotel room or balcony, reminding us that it doesn’t take a gym or a large space to get a great workout in.
Melissa Wood’s method focuses primarily on movement and uses it in combination with meditation and mindful eating. She brings a soothing, calming energy to each class that makes you feel relaxed and at peace. 30 minute classIf you are new to Melissa Wood Health then this class is a great place to begin. She walks you through her method as well as focuses on some of the important basic positions in any pilates practice.
21 Min Full Body Power Flow
21 minute classThis 21 minute full body flow is an extremely effective workout if you're short on time. It combines breath work and pilates positions that work your entire body and leaves you feeling like you worked out for much longer than 21 minutes. This is a great option for someone looking for a low-impact, quick (but efficient!) workout.
28 Min Full Body w/ Dance Warmup
28 minute classThis class starts with a dance warmup to help you release whatever's stuck in your body, which ends up looking silly but feels great while you're moving. The rest of this workout is a full body pilates workout that highlights what MWH does best: extremely effective, low-impact movements that help to lengthen, lean and tone. This is great for someone who has done a number of other MWH workouts and understands the pace and movements.
