Founded by the highly respected celebrity trainer Lia Bartha, B The Method is a traditional mat pilates program meant to lengthen, strengthen and tone every muscle group in your body. Each low impact class is a mix of slow, intentional pilates movements with the focus being entirely on utilizing the correct form. The goal of her program is to create strength and stability within your body as a means of longevity and protection. You’ll never leave one of her workouts feeling fatigued, exhausted or overworked – that just isn’t the point of this. That doesn’t mean that the workouts are easy though, you’ll be surprised by how sore you are the next day, but it does mean that this is a great workout for just about anyone at any level.
Whether you’re just starting out or you already have a pilates practice and are familiar with the movements, you’ll find her classes to be challenging and incredibly rewarding. Lia offers multiple live classes a week as well as an extensive on-demand library where you can learn her techniques or stack a few classes back to back. 60 minutes of full body exercises to lengthen, strengthen and restore. This total body workout can be done by all levels but is definitely geared towards those with an intermediate or advanced pilates practice. Level up your class by using a pilates stabilizing ball and 1 lb wrist weights.
