Jacqui's approach to her pilates practice is simple - this is a style of workouts you can start today and keep doing until you're 80. Each of her classes are built to of course leave leave you feeling stronger, more toned and lean, but the main objection is always to help you use your pilates practice to find a release of physical and mental tension.
The Pilates Class, based in Sydney, Australia, is founded and led by trainer Jacqui Kingswell, a former dancer turned pilates instructor who, like most of us, found her world turned upside down in 2020 by the pandemic when she learned that the studio she taught pilates in would be shut down for the foreseeable future. She chose then to take her own practice online which quickly amassed a global following, leading to the official launch of The Pilates Class - an online platform with a wide range of classes from traditional pilates, barre, strength, cardio and stretch classes to meditation and even a pre/post natal set of classes, with each class having its roots in pilates/dance technique.
Classes are divided between intensity levels (chill, satisfying or intense), but be warned that no matter which class you take you'll end up incredibly sore the next day – these classes are sneaky hard!

This all levels 30 minute class is all about decompressing and letting go of all the energy that you've been holding on to. Release the energy, and reconnect back to the breath and body, feel grounded and connected.
35min Let Go and Set Intentions
This low impact 35 minute class is a combination of traditional pilates moves paired with lengthening, stretching moves that just feel so good in your body.
10 Minute Abs10 minute class
This quick (but extremely effective!) 10 minute ab burnout is a great addition to the end of one of your other Pilates classes.
